Green Expectations can design and install your flowerbed. Beyond that, we provide additional planting and maintenance of annuals, perennials, and bulbs, including:

• Cutting back perennials and removing dead plant material to allow for greater growth. 

• Deadheading to remove spent blossoms and encourage new bud development.

• Dividing perennials to encourage new growth after they take over an area.

• Manual weeding without chemicals for your plants and to protect your business.

• Mulching by spreading shredded hardwood bark or other materials to help protect your planting areas.

• SHRUB CARE- Pruning is a selective process where we remove individual branches from shrubs.

Have You Considered a New Mulch Bed For Your Business? With our Mulch Installation Program you can watch the magic at work while we create and install a fabulous mulch bed from beginning to end.  Or, we can just refresh an existing mulch bed. 

ADDING UNIFORMITY

Mulching beds are a great way to add uniformity to your Commercial Landscape.  Mulch is usually replenished annually with a

1"-3" fresh layer.  

While a base of 1"-5" is most desirable, we avoid thick layers and piling high against trunks and plantings which could end up being detrimental.  Mulch also helps prevent weeds, holds moisture and in most cases, adds organic matter to the soil.
